Overview
Wildlife Clearance is mandatory for projects located within or in the vicinity of protected areas such as national parks, wildlife sanctuaries, conservation reserves, or eco-sensitive zones. The proposal is evaluated to assess its potential impact on wildlife and biodiversity. Approval is granted by the Standing Committee of the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL) after considering recommendations from the concerned authorities and ensuring adequate wildlife conservation measures.
