Overview
What is a Dry Scrubbers (VOC Fume Scrubbers)?
Our dry scrubbers utilise packed beds of activated carbon, impregnated alumina, or chemically treated media to adsorb VOCs, odourous compounds, and low-water-solubility gases without generating liquid effluent — the preferred solution where scrubber blowdown disposal is impractical. Media regeneration or replacement schedules are engineered to customer duty cycles and pollutant concentrations.
Key Features
- Zero liquid effluent — no scrubber blowdown or water-treatment requirement
- Activated carbon (AC) or impregnated media matched to specific VOC/odour profile
- Bed depth and empty-bed contact time (EBCT) designed for target removal efficiency
- Activated carbon regeneration (hot-air or steam stripping) option for high-volume applications
