Overview
Approval for product mix change is required when an industry proposes to modify its product portfolio, production capacity, or manufacturing process, wherever such changes are covered under the applicable environmental regulations. The approval is governed by the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, the EIA Notification, 2006, and, where applicable, the Water Act, 1974 and the Air Act, 1981.
