What is a STP — MBR Base Plant?
Bharti Enviro's MBR STPs integrate submerged hollow-fibre or flat-sheet ultrafiltration membranes directly within the aeration zone, eliminating secondary clarifiers and producing consistently clean effluent with TSS below 5 mg/L and turbidity below 1 NTU — directly reusable for toilet flushing and irrigation. The combined biological-membrane unit reduces plant footprint by up to 50% versus conventional activated-sludge systems.
