What is a STP — MBBR Base Plant?
The MBBR-based STP from Bharti Enviro harnesses free-floating polyethylene biofilm carriers to sustain high biomass concentrations without sludge recycle complexity, making it the ideal upgrade path for existing plants lacking clarifier space. MBBR stages can be retrofitted into existing aeration tanks to double treatment capacity with minimal civil work.
