Overview
What is a ETP — MBR Base Plant?
Our MBR-based ETPs combine submerged ultrafiltration membranes with high MLSS biological reactors to produce industrial effluent suitable for in-plant reuse or as RO feed — directly supporting zero-freshwater-discharge strategies. MBR ETPs are preferred for constrained land sites and where effluent quality requirements are stringent enough to justify membrane capital.
Key Features
- MLSS 10,000–15,000 mg/L in MBR reactor — 3–4× higher than conventional AS
- Permeate TSS < 1 mg/L and turbidity < 0.2 NTU — direct RO feed without multi-media filter
- Chemical-enhanced backwash (CEB) automated to maintain membrane flux ≥ 15 LMH
- Membrane life 8–10 years with proper CIP protocol and chemical dosing
