What is a Agitated Thin Film Dryer (ATFD)?
Bharti Enviro's ATFDs are the final drying stage in ZLD/MEE trains, converting 25–40% DS concentrate slurries into a free-flowing, dry salt powder suitable for secure landfill or resource recovery. The mechanically agitated rotor spreads feed as a thin film on a steam-heated vessel wall, achieving instantaneous evaporation and short residence times that prevent thermal degradation of heat-sensitive salts.
